Heart In the Dark

To practice shooting objects in low light and to learn to capture shadows and contrast, I set up my little wooden drawing mannequin and posed him with various objects. Even though he has no eyes or mouth for expression, I have always felt that he conveyed tons of emotions.
This is by far one of my favorite shots. (It is currently part of a framed series in my living room.)
