Hold On

Part of how I learn to take better pictures and to see what makes a good photo is I study other people’s work. There are photographers who I dream of being able to shoot like (see the links on the side) and there are photos I try and re-create.
This is entry is one of those photos I tried to re-create. It’s a concept I have seen in many a Flickr page and I even saw one in an art installation at a coffee shop.
For me, this picture is a visual reminder to hold on. Whenever I see it or think about it the lyrics to Good Charlotte’s Hold On come to mind.
So remember “Hold on if you feel like letting go. Hold on it gets better than you know.”
