Love Carries On

Keith, Erin, and Caleb - thank you for allowing me to take pictures of your growing family.  You are a picture of love and hope.  You are an example of patience and dedication to what you know you are meant to be.

May you share many kisses, laughs, and moments that are priceless to your heart and soul.

Keith

Keith is a good guy….actually he’s a great guy.  He never ceases at being available to help, teach, encourage, etc.  He is a quiet strength to anyone who knows him.

So to show off the sweater (that Erin loves) Keith endured having his picture taken alone for a few minutes.

It reminds me of a senior portrait, but with real trees!

Peanut

Erin often writes little letters to Caleb each week.  When she first started she addressed them to Peanut.  I thought it was one of the cutest things ever, so I simply couldn’t resist incorporating Peanut into some of our maturnity shots.

I really love this one because Peanut is the focus yet even though Erin isn’t the focus, she still smiling away.

You Are Loved

I don’t want to get all mushy but I just want to take a moment to tell Caleb that you are loved my friend.  Your parents have been waiting for you.  You are an answer to many prayers.  So if you ever have one of those days where you don’t feel loved, remember this - your parents have loved you before you were even born.

Erin, Keith, and Caleb aka Peanut

This week’s posts will center around an incredible couple Erin and Keith.  Erin and Keith are expecting their first child - Caleb and since one’s belly is always with them, we took some family portraits and maturnity shots.

Erin was a tad shy about having her picture taken.  (I don’t blame her I am not a fan of having my picture taken either.)  But after some laughs and me slightly picking on her, she warmed right up.

Aren’t the cute?!

Till Next Time

Kathy, Kyle, Adam, Nate, and Aiden - thank you for once again allowing me to be apart of your journey.  I am amazed at all that you’ve been through and all that the future holds.

Just remember to keep fighting and walking…

Mind If I Make You Smile

Sometimes a picture needs no words.  This is one of those pictures.

1 Year Down

Remember the lovely twins and family from a few months back?  I had the pleasure taking their pictures again a few weeks ago.  These little miracles are now a year old and their parents have recently been married.  So the photo shoot was a celebration of life and the journey it takes us on.

Readers of this blog may not know the story of Aiden and Nate, but you can read their story here.

Boys - here’s to many more years.

Would You Vote For Me Again Please?!

So I have entered another contest and I would REALLY love to win it, but I need your help. Part of winning is having the “popular” vote.

So if you would take a moment and go to this website

My picture (the one of Livi at the park) is entry number 0077 and is on page 6. Go to that page and click on her picture.  When you do that the picture will open and in the bottom of the frame it will say “Vote for entry 0077″, click on that text. It will ask you for your email address as a means of tracking who votes.  (I just found out that the pages are showing up different on different computers.  The picture you are looking for is this one -

Here’s the catch….You can only vote for one photo and you can only vote once per computer.  So if you have a home and a work computer you could vote twice for the photo.  And there is ONLY 7 days to vote - so you have to act fast!

I won’t have any idea how many votes at all.

Also please pass this around to all your friends and see if they would vote for me.  I need all the help I can get.

The first place prize is valued at $3350.  All the prizes involve building a website for your photography and the company who would be making the site is AMAZING.  It would be incredible to have a site designed by them. If you have questions let me know and thanks for voting!

Behind The Scenes - Again

This is a Black-footed penguin. This room dedicated The Penguin Encounters experience.

Interesting fact - Newport Aquarium goes through 22,000 pounds of food each month.  Most would guess that the sharks consume the most food.  The truth is the penguins consume the most food.  Penguins eat 20% of the body weight, whereas sharks only eat 2 - 3% of their body weight.  A penguins diet includes small fish such as pilchards, sardines, anchovies small crustaceans and squid.

Behind the Scenes Tour allows you an inside look at the Aquarium facility and learn what it takes to maintain a one million-gallon environment.  In a guided tour, you’ll see miles of pipes, explore how the animals are fed and visit the vet lab.
