Cincinnati – Eden Park

I enjoy going to Eden Park during the year.  It offers the feel of a great park yet it is small and homey.  The pond, the overlook of the city, and little sitting areas offer a wide range of locations for some great photos.

This is a little resting spot by the overlook that had a collection of random, colorful flowers.  This particular one caught my eye on this day.

Cincinnati – Union Terminal

Union Terminal is another favorite place of mine here in Cincinnati.  I love the Cincinnati History Museum part.  The models of the city through the years captures my attention every time.  And I figure I would combine this…

The picture is also of another hometown favorite – baseball.  Although the model is of Crosely and I have never been there – it still our hometown team.  Sure they may not have the most wins and may not have had a world series championship in awhile, but I sure do love my hometown team.

Cincinnati

I love where I live.  Cincinnati has always been in my top 5 favorite places to be.  I would like to take the rest of this week to showcase a few of my favorite spots.

Fountain Square.  The city has done a lot of work on bringing back a fun community aspect to the square.  One night I ventured down to take some night pictures because the fountain and the lighting are amazing at night.

I’m Back!

Thank you for all the warm well wishes.  My surgery and recovery went a million times better than expected.

I am still getting back into the swing of things slowly, so any session needs you have I can take care of starting Feb 1st.

The photo highlights for the next couple of weeks will be some of my random favorites.  Enjoy!

Hello all,

I will be having surgery this coming Wednesday (Jan 7th). I will be out of commission for a little while.

Take care.

January 2009

This month’s calendar features a picture that was taken at the Cincinnati Art Museum.

I love being able to get close to the paintings and see the brush strokes.  I love how you can see the textures.

Blaze

In all the pictures I have taken up to the time of this shoot, I had not taken portraits with a family pet.  Blaze was my first family pet to join the fun.  I love dogs.  I hope to own one here soon (spring time I hope).  I’m not sure who was amused more Blaze or myself.  It was a lot of fun trying to get Blaze to play along and sit still and not lick the kids or my camera lens.

Blaze, I realize you can’t read but you are an adorable subject.
