2009 Summer of Service – The Band

As a photographer I get to take part in a lot of amazing things – capturing a special family moment to the wonderful beauty of the creation around us to live music at it’s finest. But once a year I get to take part in something called Summer of Service and it is one of the things I love to photograph.
This week I would like to showcase the student worship band. They lead worship each morning and on Monday night. I was blown away by their talent.
This is Chris and he plays guitar. I love taking pictures of guitarists. They are generally either super laid back or very animated. Chris was very animated. I have one picture of him jumping in the air (which was taken totally by accident).
