My Nephew, Jackson

I know that there will be many many pictures to come of Jackson – so consider yourself warned.

This picture I took with my cell phone while I was holding him. It’s not the greatest quality but I still love it. It was the first time he opened his eyes and looked at me. I crumbled…I’ll admit it.

Jackson I love you. I’m always for you.

Don’t you just want to kiss those cheeks?!

He was a big boy…

I figured since I mentioned last week that I have a new nephew I would spend this week sharing some of his pictures that I took.  It’s amazing how quickly they can steal your heart.

Slightly Distracted

On Monday my nephew Jackson was born.  I’ve been slightly distracted by the stealing of my heart from the little guy.  So please forgive me if this blog takes a few more days off.

See You Next Week

Although this week will be jammed pack, I will be taking a break from the blog this week.

Take time this week to enjoy spending time with those you love!

The Uwamu / Disi Wedding

To Mr. and Mrs. Disi – may your love continue to grow.  You are surrounded by many great people who have a deep love for you.  May you find protection and security in them and each other.  Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your day and learn so many wonderful lessons.

The Uwamu / Disi Wedding

This is one of those shots that I refer to as “accidental greatness”.  I love the bokeh lighting in the background and how the shadows are the bride and the groom.  I was going for something like this but it turned out much better than I expected.

The Uwamu / Disi Wedding

The little details of a wedding always amaze me.  From table settings to shoes and everything in between the little details find a way to tie everything together.  This is one of the wedding cakes.  I found the pin that held the ribbon together to be simple and beautiful.
